Prices and Procedures.

Accommodation at the Shamrock comprises  of typical hotel rooms with a modern twist. All the rooms and amenities have recently been renovated. These rooms have polished floors, heating and a/c units and a hand basin – bedding, towels and soap are provided. At either end of the hallway is a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

The number of beds available is designed to suit either one large group or several smaller groups. A maximum of seventeen people can be comfortably accommodated, and any smaller combinations of that number.

There is one double, one triple and three quadruple rooms.

As we are licensed until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings, the sounds of live music and happy days  / nights probably means that our accommodation is better suited to night owls than those who like a quiet night. During the week, noise is usually not such a problem, but we do like to remind our customers that this is hotel accommodation.

Room rates per night are as follows:
Double $65
All other combinations are $40pp
Booking the whole floor is $680pn
A deposit of $50 is required for both the key and the a/c remote.

For a booking to be made, full payment for the entire stay is required. Once payment has been made it is Non Refundable. All potential guests should be aware of this policy. Special events / peak times may result in higher tariffs.

 

Larger Groups

Accommodation for larger groups is also available and has proven to be popular with those on a shoe string budget.

Behind the Shamrock garden is a house that was once used as accommodation by travelling salesmen. We have now converted this into a backpacker style accommodation.

In the house there are several rooms with a combination of bunks and single beds, along with four showers and two toilets. There are no other facilities available. This accommodation up to management discretion can house up to 42 people. The cost is $35 per person per night.

Groups that have used the house include, cricket, football, netball teams, paintball enthusiasts,  golfing buddies and bucks / hens groups.
